Mr. Durotola started his career in engineering with Nigerian Electricity Supply Company (NESCO), Bukuru, Plateau State in 1975 after his Technical School education. He worked here till 1977, when he joined the then NEPA as Assistant Technical Officer in Training. After a two-year training in Kainji Training Centre, he continued his career in the System Lines Department of Transmission Sector of NEPA.
He later rose through the ranks, due to hard work and experience gained over the years, to the position of Principal Manager (System Lines) before retiring in 2012.
He joined the services of Szotyola Energy in 2013. He is a Member of the Nigerian Association of Technologists and Engineers; Associate Member, Nigerian Society of Engineers.
