Engr. N. N. Ezeaku graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Electrical/Electronics in 1977 from the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu, Nigeria. He joined the services of National Electric Power Authority (now PHCN) in Kaduna, Nigeria in 1981. He rose to the rank of Principal Technical Officer in 1990 before being transferred to Apo Transmission Station, Abuja, Nigeria as Principal Manager (Transmission). In this capacity, he was head of the station till 2000 when he was redeployed to Akpakpava District Office, Benin Zone of Power Holding Company of Nigeria as District Manager.

Before leaving Abuja, in his quest for educational and professional diversification, he acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Abuja. He worked in various districts within Benin Zone, acquired an MBA (Management) from the University of Benin before being promoted Assistant General Manager and redeployed to the Corporate Headquarters of Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), a successor company of Power Holding Company of Nigeria, in 2007. He first functioned as Assistant General Manager (Regulations) where his responsibilities include regular liaison with the Industry Regulators and sensitizing the management and general staff of TCN on their rights, privileges and obligations in the new electricity market. He was later redeployed to projects where he coordinated conceptualization of new projects and managed all on-going transmission projects.
He was promoted General Manager in 2010 and posted to Benin Transmission Region of TCN where he retired in 2012. He is a Corporate Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers; Nigerian Institute of Management and is registered with the Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria.
His wealth of experience in the energy sector is what Szotyola Energy needs to grow in its formative years.
