Engr. J. O. Adeoye graduated from the University of Ilorin in 1992 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering. After his National Youth Service and a short stint with Deo Makro Limited as an Electronics Engineer, he joined the services of ABB Nigeria Limited, one of the best Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) companies in the electricity energy sector in Nigeria, in 1995. While with this company, his responsibilities include:

• Project management and control;
• Site feasibility surveys and reports;
• Communication network evaluation;
• Erection, commissioning and maintenance of power and communication equipment such as Power Line Carrier System (PLC), Fibre Optics (FO), Line Traps (LT), Line Matching Units (LMU), microwave radios, SCADA and PABX;
• Cost Control.

Between 1998 and 2001, he attended several equipment specific and general courses and trainings at the ABB Transmission and Distribution University in Switzerland.

He rose to the position of Head of Department (Power System Department).

After a short stint with Shoreline Power International Limited, where he was Head of Department, Electrical Installation and Maintenance, he joined Siemens Nigeria Limited in 2006. In Siemens, his responsibilities include:

• Installation and commissioning of power and communications equipment: PLC, FO, LT, LMU, PABX, SCADA, microwave radios, Low Medium and High Voltage switch gear;
• Project planning, execution and management;
• Cost control.

From 2012 to 2014 he worked with Telemit International Limited, a company that focuses on the same operations.

In the course of his career, he attended a lot of training workshops in and outside Nigeria.

Engr. Adeoye joined the services of Szotyola Energy in 2014 with a whole lot of experience and expertise.
