Engr. Sikiru Adetona Owonikoko has spent virtually his whole professional career in the private sector. He joined the services of SOOZ Creations Limited in 2005 and was involved in the following tasks:
- Development of standards and procedures for engineering tasks;
- Planning, organizing and evaluating activities on projects;
- Preparation of specifications, proposals and progress reports;
- Project monitoring both technically and financially;
- Site management and budget implementation.

As a registered and certified engineer, ha has a proven record in the construction industry. He is a member of the following professional bodies and associations:
- COREN registered;
- American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE);
- Canadian Society for Civil Engineers (CSCE);
- Construction Institute (CI);
- Water and Wastewater Institute (WWI);
- Environmental and Water Resources Institute (EWRI); and
- Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
He brought his rich background to join the services of Szotyola Energy in 2014.
